SAHTE KARŞILAŞMALAR ALANI
Beyza Boynudelik’in “Sahte Karşılaşmalar Alanı” adlı sergisi, 24 Mayıs 2010 tarihinde 44A’da açılıyor.
Güncel yaşam trajedileri ve giyilmiş roller, ardına saklanılan maskeler… Gündelik yaşamdaki tuhaf aksaklıklar ve etkileri.. Sanatçı, bugünün bireyinin; gündemi inanılmaz bir hızla değişen kent yaşamında, bir yandan çizilen “ideal metropol insanı” şablonunun içini doldurmaya çalışırken; diğer yandan tepkisiz, duygusuz, neredeyse belleksiz ve yalnız hale gelişinin izlerini, resimleri aracılığıyla görselleştiriyor. Fastfood haberler ve pembe dizi hayatların, bireyin zihninde, gerçek trajedilerden daha fazla iz bırakmasını eleştirirken, bireyin, kayıtsızlık maskesi altında “öteki”ni inceleyen halini bizlere sunmak istiyor. Statü ve güç odaklı apatik kalabalıkların, Bauman’a göre “sahte karşılaşmalar” yaşayanların maskelerini işaret etmek niyetinde. Boynudelik’in, her türlü felakete ragmen fütursuzca mutlu, ama incir çekirdeğini doldurmayacak herşey için derin depresyonda olan kent insanının samimiyetini ve gerçekliğini sorguladığı yapıtları, 16 Haziran 2010 tarihine kadar 44A’da izlenebilir.
1975 İstanbul doğumlu Beyza Boynudelik, 1999 senesinde Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi, G.S.F. Resim Bölümü’nden mezun olduktan sonra, aynı bölümde Yüksek Lisansını tamamlamış, halen aynı bölümde Sanatta Yeterlilik eğitimine devam etmektedir. Yurtiçi ve yurtdışı karma ve kişisel sergiler açmakta, sempozyum ve workshoplara katılmaktadır.

THE ZONE OF FALSE ENCOUNTERS
Beyza Boynudelik’s new exhibition “The Zone of False Encounters” opens on May 24, 2010 at 44A.
Quotidian tragedies, roles that have been put on, and masks to hide behind. Bizarre complications of daily life, and their effects.. The artist, through her paintings, visualizes the path of today’s individual as he/she becomes reactionless, emotionless, solitary and almost devoid of memory while trying to perform the role of the “ideal metropolitan subject” in a city life with constantly changing agendas. While criticizing how fast-food news and soap opera lives leave more traces in the mind of the individual than real tragedies, the artist seeks to present us with the state of this individual -living a life of visual and emotional trash-, who investigates “the other” under a mask of indifference , without looking them in the eye. She seeks to point at the masks of status and power oriented apathetic crowds, of those who, according to Bauman, experience “false encounters”. Boynudelik’s work, which explores the reality and sincerity of the metropolitan subject -who despite all kinds of disasters, manages to stay indifferently happy but also lives in deep depression brought on by the tiniest of troubles, will be on view at 44A until June 16, 2010.
BeyzaBoynudelik was born in Istanbul in 1975. After completing her BFA at Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department, she went on to do her master’s degree at the same university, where she now continues her PHD studies. She has had her work exhibited in many domestic and international exhibitions, and continues to participate in various symposiums and workshops.
